Mechanics

How the bill is worked out.

Two variables set the price, and neither of them is how many patients you see.
  1. Per prescribing doctor

Pricing scales on doctors who prescribe. Receptionists, nurses, pharmacists and lab technicians all get their own login at no additional per-seat charge — a clinic should not be billed for giving staff separate accounts, because shared logins are how audit trails stop meaning anything.

  2. Per module enabled

Turn on the Pharmacy module only if you dispense, the Lab module only if you test. A clinic that refers everything out pays for neither.

  3. Changed whenever you need

Add a doctor mid-month, switch a module on for a season, scale back after. Billing follows the change rather than a contract anniversary.

Every plan

Included at every tier.

The ₹898 plan is a smaller clinic’s version of the product, not a crippled one.
  • Runs in any browser — no installation, no server to buy, no on-site IT
  • A separate login and permission set for every staff member, across eight roles
  • Real-time updates, so the queue a nurse sees is the queue the doctor sees
  • Export of your patient records to Excel, whenever you want them
  • Encrypted connections and an audit trail on administrative action
  • Product updates as they ship, without a version upgrade project
The second charge

The booking commission.

A pricing page that hides a fee reads as a company that hides things, so here it is on the pricing page rather than three clicks into a contract.

When a patient books themselves through your public page, the platform takes a usage-based commission on that booking. It is separate from your subscription, not an addition to it.

It applies to

  • Bookings made by a patient through your public booking page or the Qlini app

It never applies to

  • Walk-in patients registered at your front desk
  • Appointments your own staff enter on a patient's behalf
  • Follow-ups scheduled during a consultation
  • Your subscription — the commission is separate, not an addition to it

The rate is confirmed in writing before you switch public booking on, and you can run the clinic without it — every plan works perfectly well with walk-ins and staff-entered appointments only.

Working it out

What it is really compared against.

Skip the ROI calculator and do the arithmetic on staff hours, which is where clinic software actually returns money.
~19 hours
of staff time a month

A receptionist spending 90 minutes a day on registration paperwork, appointment calls and hunting for paper files, reduced to 45, gives back about 19 hours a month across 25 working days.

₹898
is where it starts

For most small clinics the licence loses to the labour by a wide margin. That is the entire reason affordable clinic software is a viable category rather than a charity.

What that arithmetic does not capture, in either direction: better documentation, fewer lost files, faster patient turnaround — and the fortnight of disruption while everyone learns the system. The first three are real but hard to price. The fourth is real and worth budgeting for. We wrote about how to evaluate clinic software pricing in more detail, including the questions worth asking any vendor.

Questions

Before you commit.

How is pricing calculated?

By the number of doctors who prescribe and which operational modules you enable. You only pay for what you use.

Who counts as a doctor for billing?

Practitioners who prescribe. Receptionists, nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians and administrators each get their own login and their own permissions without adding to the doctor count.

Is there a booking commission?

Public online bookings carry a platform commission — a usage-based charge separate from your subscription. It applies only to bookings a patient makes themselves through your public page or the Qlini app, never to walk-ins or appointments your staff enter.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Add doctors or modules any time; billing scales automatically, and you can scale back the same way.

Do you charge per patient record?

No. Pricing does not scale with how many patients you see or how many records you hold.

Can I get my data out if I leave?

Yes. Patient records export to Excel from the Patient Registration module at any time, without asking us and without a fee.

Are the prices inclusive of GST?

Prices shown are exclusive of taxes. Applicable GST is added on the invoice.
